My point in calling Loomis is to verify WHICH Loomis. Was assuming if I start calling different branches they are all just going to say Loomis because Wells Fargo uses Loomis. I guess I can try and get the the address of which Loomis from the phone call.

Pain in the butt part for me is returning them. I'm not sure how much I should worry about this whole different coin vaults thing. I see the concept. If the vault takes the rolls (in bags) and verifies them and rewraps them then if they all cycle within the same vault I will be diluting the machine wrapped rolls over time not counting new coins introduced to the system. However it may be there is enough of a turn over that that is probably not going to happen especially if I drop them off at a different branch.

I think what I need to do is check out some of my other local branches and see which ones also only do customer wrapped rolls. If they are all like that then they must not get enough requests to have to get Loomis to supply them unless its a special order. If thats the case then it doesn't really matter which branch I return them to as long as its not the same one because they will either sit at that branch and go out to other people who request them or they will go back to loomis eventually and get redistributed or whatever Loomis does with them.

I may just experiment. I may just receive at one branch and return at another trying to get what I can from the local rolls without upsetting the tellers and see if over time I get less and less finds.

I had a kickin couple of rolls today. Out of about 8$s in pennies so far I've gotten 10 or so wheats plus I'd say 1 to 3 dollars in coppers. I'll have to tally it up later. 3 rolls were STACKED with coppers so I am guessing someone returned a jar they had been collecting for a few years.

I also found a high quality 1975 penny still shiny with little wear and tear. Not proof for sure but I have a personal classification called 'proofish' which is kind of a general barely circulated but you can tell it was. (Knowing that I am not good at grading yet.)

Its entirely possible I am just way over thinking this and I need to just shut up and do it. :D
