1883 3CN -- What Grade? Is This Proof ?

This is another of the coins that I inherited. I did not even know they made 3 cent nickels. It is a great looking coin. It appears natural with no cleaning, then again I am no expert. What grade would you give this? Also, is this a proof or business strike and how can you tell the difference? Thank you for all your respected opinions.

Looks like it may be? With a mintage of only 4000 that year, you've got yourself a pretty rare and beautiful coin either way. Nice little bit of cameo on it also.

Looks like a Proof to me. Do the edges appear very flat with somewhat sharp rims?

Certainly looks like a Proof. More Proofs were minted that year than Business Strikes, so the law of averages is in favor as well.
