Ι guess they're ok. I don't collect them so I don't know anything about them. What's the deal with them ?

The cause for woodies to look that way is a poor copper mix. These qualify. Some like them and others don't. But the closer to wood/color separation there is, the more desireable they are. Others are just a distraction. Buy the way you like them.
