The only thing thats keeping me from ordering a few is that they are only selling on the internet for hardly anything over face.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/180960063416

I think the mint has gone overboard with this series, and with a mintage of 250, 000, people have finally decided that they will never go up in value.
Never mind though, I might get one just as a keepsake.

Also, I find it odd that they could come up with nothing else to commemerate than the penny. Commemerating a coin on a coin again?

I think this ebay bid is a joke. Who will pay $20.50 buy a folder only?

This guys got it made. He has sold tons of folders alone for over $20 a piece!! A few bad comments about it but the amazing thing is that lots of people have left positive comments after paying that much for NO coin

He's also sold his 5 pack Shannon twoonies for double the value.

He is also very open numerous times that it's just the folder.

I have to say, I enjoy the subscription. I think I will eventually sell these to buy some Silver or Gold Maples, as the ROI looks to be high on each of them, but in the meantime, they are a nice punctuated surprise in my mailbox. I had no idea the most recent one was even out, and I got a set of 3 in the mail!

This series of coins is the only one I allow for more than a 10-15% premium over melt on, so it's an easy indulgence to allow.

I think this one has the nicest design yet, though I loved the "young queen" side of the last one a lot.

The $20, no shipping/tax subscription is a fantastic deal. While the coins only have the intrinsic value of ~1/3 an ounce of silver, I think for all intents and purposes, they will never trade for less than $20. If the trends are to be relied on, I think each of them within 12 months will have gained in value by 50%.
