I was trying to list mystery coin on ebay last week. Here is why I couldn't:

You are not permitted to offer shipping to Germany (this includes worldwide or EU) for this item. Please revise your listing to domestic-only or other non-Germany shipping options.

If you think this coin got something to do with Nazis, you are absolutely wrong.Mystery coin is Iraq 10 fils 1933.Is this normal? Why I couldn't list this coin?

My two guesses would be that either you have to sell a certain amount to ship internationally or Germany doesn't want those types of coins coming in the country

I am guessing it would have to be some type of law against shipping those types of coins to Germany for ebay to make this a policy. I don't see any other reason why they would make a decision so specific like this

I hadnt either but was just a wild guess. Those were the only two things I could think of for why that would be happening unless its a glitch since its not like Germany is a country no one ships to North Korea

If you're calling it a "mystery coin," chances are Germany's rules prohibit it because there's a possibility it would be a Nazi coin.

"Mystery items", in the sense of "I'm putting a coin in a brown paper bag so you can't see it - bid on it and you never know what you might get!" are prohibited on ebay. I know this is different to selling a "mystery coin" in the sense of "I don't know what this coin is or where it came from but I'm showing you clear pictures of it so maybe you know what it is", but something may have gotten lost in translation on the German end.

One final thing... if you know it's an Iraq 10 fils 1933, what's "mysterious" about it? Why not just describe it as "Iraq 10 fils 1933" rather than "mystery coin"?
