just seen this on ebay, noticed it just now when writing up an add, was not there this morning.
ebay Giving Works
Donate 10-100% of your sale to your favorite nonprofit and ebay will give you a credit on basic selling fees for sold items.
I do not wish to donate at this time

It's been around for years. They discount all your fees the same percentage that you donate.

It might help you out on your taxes, but it's doubtful. I still rather determine what charity to which I donate and hate the constant haranguing you receive from all stores at checkout time.

I think the classic was when I was purchasing something from an upscale men's store, has a pony and rider on the shirts, wanted me to donate money for the childrens relief fund to stop exploiting child labor. Where are most of these shirts made now...SW Asia; where do they exploit child labor the most...SW Asia. Stop the madness, just say no thank you.

I also dont like how a lot of stores take a cut for "administrative" fees. Generally donating directly rather than through a 3rd party gets more money actually going towards what you intended it to
