A weak strike, but most definitely mint state. That year is a tough one to get in higher grades.

Are you serious SPP...I have 6 or 7 in that state or better...Do not know how hard it was to come by...?

Wert, I guess that depends on your definition of "higher grades"...

MS-63 at the most. Are the fingerprints on the coin old or recent? Try a wipe with acetone (or fingernail polish remover). The coin is pure nickel, and a gentle wipe with acetone will not hurt it.

Any markings on the coin would have been from years ago. Nothing recent.
There is that one scratch on the neck but I don't think there are any others.
I can dip in acetone. How long would I do it for? Do I rinse?
