A weak strike, but most definitely mint state. That year is a tough one to get in higher grades.

Wert, I guess that depends on your definition of "higher grades"...

Is anyone able to approximate a number? MS 60,63, anything?

MS-63 at the most. Are the fingerprints on the coin old or recent? Try a wipe with acetone (or fingernail polish remover). The coin is pure nickel, and a gentle wipe with acetone will not hurt it.

There seems to be quite a few marks on her majesty's neck.

Any markings on the coin would have been from years ago. Nothing recent. There is that one scratch on the neck but I don't think there are any others. I can dip in acetone. How long would I do it for? Do I rinse?
