The reverse is much nicer IMO. I would put it gVF-aEF and the obverse looks aVF-VF to me and possibly cleaned. It might get AU50 or high XF but I'm not expert.

The fine marks visible under light look like rub marks from a cloth to me, especially since their absence behind the legend where there appears to be some of it's original lustre remaining. Yeah, give it a quick rub, it will bring it up ...... Nnnnnnoooooooooooo .... bet whoever did it regretted it.

I got it cheap enough and a few rub marks wont devalue it too much as you dont often see them this good

Well said, I would much rather your coin with some evidence of cleaning than the battered and worn one I currently have

Don't worry, wasn't suggesting a negative by the presence of a few rub marks, was just suggesting a simple rub as a alternative source of the fine marks as opposed to it having been cleaned. I'd ímagine that most of the ones visible under the magnification and light would not be to the naked eye anyway. I've never had a 32, not even a filler, (just a gap), so I'd be pretty chuffed with it too!

If you tell me how much you would pay for one like this and I'll tell how much it cost me

If I was selling it I'd call it aEF as it still has a lot of detail
