The last episode of this year had a huge pile of money that Skylar had hidden in a storage unit. This is the best picture I could find of it..
Anyone have an idea of how much might have been there?
You can see a video of the scene here.

( I think.. the video wont play for me right now.)

It looks like a good mix of denominations.

Certainly less than Heath Ledger had as the Joker in The Dark Knight.

It's is most likely "movie money" and not real currency.

I would be surprised if it wasnt. Can you imagine if it WERE real? I think I would throw myself onto that pile and wiggle.

Do you mean that he made more money than that or there was a lagre amount of money in the movie? I have to admit.. I have never seen it. :(
I think I will move that to the top of my netflix queue.

Are these bands color coded like coin rolls are? If so, it looks like there may be different brands used here.. I see at least 6 different colors in that picture.

I think so, but I don't see any light green bands in there, so no straps of two dollar bills. Too bad, would have been cool if there were.

Regarding this scene in The Dark Knight, The Joker torches a multi-hundred million dollar pile of mob money. The scene is best summed up with a quote from Bruce Wayne's loyal butler, Alfred-

Quote:
Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

As an aside, I finally got around to seeing The Dark Knight Rises this past weekend and it is AMAZING in IMAX format
