This is another one that's a heart breaker.

Maybe we need to start a new category: Heart breakers or Almost Fancy Serial Numbers.

No premium for those, but we could all share our 'almosts'.

if it was just 2 notes after that one you would have had something (I am guessing the term would be a repeater) but this one is a miss and so close I would probably keep it even though its only worth 5 bucks

No offence...but....why would you even think it was anything but close? There has been a plethora of this type of question lately. A simple search can explain Fancy serials...

It was close, he almost had a binary serial number, but the 6 was thrown in there. He was one number off. Close bill, nice try :)
