Very nice. I don't have that one yet. Did it come with the OGP?

I've always enjoyed this commemorative, I believe it was designed by Tiffany & Company. I have the proof version bought from the mint.

Doubtful that the OGP will accompany it, but...

Very nice addition. Quote: This is my favorite of the presidential spouse series. I suggest you might be confused ... This coin was issued in 1999 as a commemorative dollar ... the modern presidential spouse series started later ... and Ms. Madison has one of each. David

Baseball I wonder if it is because the lack of Mirrored fields helps hide some flaws that the graders catch on the Proofs and I wonder if the Red Book will start listing MS/PF 68,69,70 prices for the modern Commems

Yotie I agree I think the lack of proof 70s is directly related to the mirrors. The slightest little tick stands out like a sore thumb, and really they just dont hold up well over time in terms of being a 70. A lot of them make the 70 now with more going straight into the slabs from the mint, but those older ones had to survive a bit before heading off to be graded. Itd be interesting to see if RedBook did. Numismedia is usually pretty spot on for them with the ebay sales anyway until you see one of the proofs with a pop of 10 show up every now and then and the asking price is usually insane

Nice coin! Great purchase!
It's definitely one of the more "artistic" coins of the modern series. It has a distinct look when viewed side-by-side with other modern US commemoratives, no doubt due to the artists at Tiffany & Co.
It's too bad that modern commemoratives such as this don't command more of a premium on the secondary market. Maybe someday...
