I want more gold. But I don't want to keep buying small amounts here and there so 5 years from now I have like 100 (1) Gram bars. But I obviously can't just go out and buy a 1 oz AGE. Right now I only have a 2.5g Pamp bar. I would really LOVE a 1/10 oz AGE or even a GCM. Now would it be worth it to sell the 2.5 and come up with the cash difference to purchase that? Or should I just save up to buy a 1/10 oz? I'm more of a silver guy. My Silver to Gold Ratio is about 500 to 1 right now. So the PM money I save I usually put 90% of that towards silver. Let me know what you think.

I would probably sell for that if thats what I really wanted.
Personally I think gold is high right now and would be trying to sell, especially if it hits 1800 again and then wait for it to drop back down a little and with any luck you wont have to come up with any extra money

I suppose thats true. Like I said in another post my phone is currently broke so I'm not able to randomly check the Gold Silver prices lol. And since its over $1700 right now I may watch the prices for the next week or so and see.
Thanks

I'm buying gold in 1/10 increments ... different varieties as well ...
But I like silver more ... the only problem with it it's getting heavier to bear day after day)))

I would save up and buy the bigger amounts of gold less frequently. You get better and better prices the bigger you get...

I might just do that. Given silver and gold prices are spikin right now, I may just keep saving up for a few more weeks or possibly a month or 2, and buy a quarter oz. We'll see...

yes... am a silver collector too.. I tried starting on gold but at day's end I never touched gold again.. for the reason that I get about 30 silver crowns for the same price of one nice great looking gold coin that means I get to stare/look and feel 30 coins, and that's 30 coins added to my collection instead of one only.

That's exactly my take on it Nic. Until I get to the point where my silver colletion is getting overwhelming, which may take awhile considering I only started a few months ago. Then I will swap some for gold.
