So I saw this add on ebay for this coin he is charging 15.00 for this coin and I sent him a message asking what the error is on the coin that he's claiming this coin has and its an indented circle around the coin which is caused from the machine that rolls these lol is that correct
I have seen a coin counting machine cause this type of damage. Some people see something different on a coin and no matter if they think it happened outside the mint or not they still think its an error. What they don't understand is that if you can make your own coins look just like it by scratching the coin or causing any type of damage to the coin at your home or shop then its not really an error but Post Mint Damage and it doesn't do anything but devalue the coin. They think no matter where it happened it is an error and worth allot of money even if it was done after it left the mint
I sent the seller another message just saying I'm trying to help him out so that know one else complains and how the coin got damaged but y'all know he didn't reply to that message
I've seen a couple of different ebay sellers try to sell coins with that particular type of "error" -- and they always seem to want a fair buck too! Anybody know where I can pick up a spare coin counting machine cheap? I think I'm gonna try to make me some mortgage money... lol
