I really hope that I am not boring the CCF on these Seated dollars, because here is a few more on a stepped down graded scale.

Thank you for your continued interest and comments!

These are from Broken CC (Northern Nevada Coin);

1842-P (asking $429(not sure about the reverse toning ))

The 1842 has a nasty rim bump and reverse discoloration....pass. The 1846 is a nice problem free coin. I like this one as much as the last 1860-O you posted in another thread.

I agree with IGE. The 1846 looks like a nice candidate.

I was in their shop and was looking for a few coins to fill a want list. Even with a resale number they would not budge one cent off their retail prices. They also have higher than average prices on their CC minted coins. Needless to say, I didn't buy anything that day. I guess their prices were for the tourists who come to see the old mint across the street. I did however have a great time touring the old Carson City Mint museum again. It had been about 20 years since I had been in the old Mint.

The 1846 is the better coin of the two. The reverse of the 1842 is ugly in my opinion.

The Seated dollars will likely be the centerpiece of your slabbed 7070 collection. As you know, I am working on this same set/goal, and I haven't even come close to looking at filling the Seated dollars, or even the Trade dollar yet. Personally, I would want to buy something I would be very proud of, and would probably want to see it in hand first. Meaning, don"t rush yourself on this one.
