Nothing special here except that this is the first time I've actually found anything in a Coinstar! Also, the '96 quarter was found in a vending machine outside. Free money is always nice. A cool $1.22.

Found $1.70 in a machine at the end of last week and 67 cents yesterday in another... along with some assorted foreign coins... starting to pick up again after a very dry January.

I got my first good find in about a month, with 91 cents in change, $11 in Mexican pesos, a British Penny, a 1958-D wheatie, and the big winner- a 1947-D quarter!

Twice in the past week I've checked the local grocery store coinstar machine on my way into and out of the store...nada! I guess you would call this a "coinstar nothing found"!

Finally ended my silver Coinstar drought today... a very short woman - maybe 4'9" was using a machine in an area where I had just dumped some coins. Anyways, she picked the coins out of the reject box and I offered her a $1 bill for the dimes as all of the reject coins appeared to be dimes and memorial cents... two of the 10 dimes were not "normal" looking.

Found $4.81 in a CoinStar today... no good dates or anything, but it effectively paid for 2/3 of my lunch at In-N-Out while I was out and about robbing banks of their coins for about 5 hours.
