Today I found a 1955 d penny at my local coinstar. I also found a 20 dollar bill on the floor at school.

I always check the coinstar at Wal-mart, but I've never seen anything in the reject bin before. Today I looked and there was some change so I picked it up. There were a couple of dimes and a Nickel that I could find nothing abnormal about, and a 1964-D Washington quarter!

Today as an after-thought checked the Coinstar machine at the supermarket, and to my surprise there were 21 coins in the rejects side. Nothing really special, but was surprised by the sheer number: Dominican Republic 25 centavos 1986; Canadian quarter 1993; Canadian nickel 2004 (nice condition); Canadian penny 1978; 7 US Lincoln cents (only 1 pre-1982); 1 Nickel; 6 dimes; and 3 quarters. What was particularly surprising was that other than one of the dimes which was quite banged up, the rest of the US coins looked fine and should not have been rejected. Anyone else run into numbers of seemingly good US coins in the reject pile?

I found 82 cents including a 1944-S penny at the Coinstar machine, and strangely enough, that penny was the only coin under the machine as opposed to in the reject bin!

Several common circulating US coins (most of them cents) were found in the reject slot this afternoon. And two not so common coins. Second place goes to a double dated Canadian dime, 1952-2002 with a P mintmark. I haven't seen one like this before. First place: a 1943 steel cent in excellent shape......no rust!

Found a 1963-D dime amongst 13 cents (a lucky 13) and a 1941 nickel (amongst $3.05) in two separate machines Tuesday.

Yesterday I found $1.18 in the return slot, only one dime was Canadian, the rest was US coinage. All pretty routine spending money except for the nice new 2016P Fort Moultrie quarter which must have come a long way in a short time considering I live in Saskatchewan, Canada.
