My coin return finds have been very slim.

Yesterday I found 3 chuck e cheese tokens, and one was a 2009. Do you think it's a key date, as it's a recession year?

Not a coinstar find but someone scratched off a lottery ticket and left the nickel on the counter which ended up in my pocket... Free money!

A lady where I used to work used to buy a bunch of lottery tickets and always threw out the non winners without validating them through the terminal. After she'd leave I'd pick them out and run them through the terminal. I've found plenty of winners out of those!

I fed $38.17 of Zincolns into a Coinstar machine. The coin return was empty before I started. The counter gave credit for three dimes which I definitely didn't have in my bucket and a Two Cent Irish Euro cent dropped into the reject tray. Those coins must have been hung up inside the mechanism.

I'm not sure how to interrupt my last Coinstar find, a drywal screw.

Well, that is certainly interesting. Is it even small enough to fit in the slot to get down to the reject tray?

mvl9591, I have brought down an Australia 50 cents coin doing the same thing, so it definitely happens.

In my state of Indiana, our lottery often times have 2nd chance drawings for prizes on some the tickets and I will always dig them out and enter them in... Nothing like having someone else buy the ticket and let me win on a 2nd chance, lol... Like 4 years ago, I hit on a $2 2nd chance ticket for $777... Currently I have a bunch of tickets I need to get off my butt and enter them in... Funny thing about hitting that 2nd chance win, the drawing was on January 2nd and I hit for a $1000 on New Years at the casino... Nothing like starting out the New Year almost $1800 richer...
