Thanks guys, I can't believe it either! I considered even an indian head a far off pipe dream, my oldest from the wild was previously a 1912 philly. I'm still so pumped. This will be the crown jewel of all my searching for a long time to come.
Today I found a 1983 pound. 16 euro cents, and 17 pesos.

Wow Illegaltender... you are my Coinstar hero. I'm amazed you found a Flying Eagle cent in the wild. Very cool.

When leaving the grocery store today, I saw a woman at the Coinstar machine. When she left, I picked up a Canadian dollar (Loonie) and a Canadian quarter she left in the reject tray.
Very nice!

Not a coinstar find, but I did receive a 1946 Wheatie in change from Kroger's this morning.

Hit 5 of my machines this morning... and one was in use... as always now, I have a pocket of spare change... the guy using the machine was having trouble with a coin, so I exchanged it for another of equal face value. As I've said before, timing is everything...

Waited patiently as a women dumped a few bags of coins in the machine. She even went into reject tray early on. I figured no luck here. She continues as I watch and I hear quite a few coins go into reject tray. The women finishes and DOES NOT go into reject tray. I walk over had to reach in 4 times to get all the coins out.End result 3 Roosys.
I am on a pretty good roll.

Thanks, cabowabo! There have been times I've waited as long as 10 minutes at a machine... $2.12 is good on its own merit... but 3 silver dimes amongst? You're on a CRAZY roll! Congrats!

BTW, I am going through my CoinStar dimes and am in the process of putting a book together, just to see how many of the 48 silver Roosevelt dime holes I can fill.
