Just found these earlier in coinstar at my workplace:

56 cents in change; the quarter is a damaged 1996-D and not too special for the rest,
Two Canadian, 1964 cent and a 2020 dime,
A Turkey 2011 10 Kurus,
2002 5 euro cents,
Netherlands 2001 10 euro cents,
Austria 2010 50 euro cents, and
Two "No Cash Value" tokens...

So I'm not complaining

Finally had a decent score. At the local Wally-Mart I walked by the Coinstar and it was chock full of coins. I just reached in and sucked up what was there and pocketed it as the wife was impatient and hates when I snag coins from these.

When I got home there was $2.08 in common coins, nothing worth saving so they all went into my dump bucket. There was 1 quarter, a bunch of dimes and nickels and 8 pennies. The only thing that stuck out to me was that all but a few were from the Philly mint. Here in the Phoenix area we rarely see Philly coins, there have been times when I had more Frisco coins in penny boxes than Philly. I suspect the dumper was from the East Coast and perhaps they dumped before they went back east for the summer.

CoinStar Karma. I acquired ten rolls of customer-wrapped dimes this morning. I didn't find any silver coins, but was unlucky enough to identify three Canadian dimes (an unavoidable hazard of living in New England). As I always do, I replaced those coins with US dimes.

My next stop was the local Stop & Shop store. To my surprise, I saw several coins in the CoinStar reject cup. None of them were silver. But I replaced the Canuck coins in the rolls with the three dimes I recovered from the CoinStar machine -- and netted a small profit of 81 cents.

Very nice NorthShoreMA. Sometimes it is curious what is found in the reject bin (e.g. the American Women's quarters, 2000's dimes).
