I found a really chewed up quarter just sitting on top of the coin star feed bin today. This thing is really ugly. It's as if it got caught in a snow plow or something.

Still spendable, just not machine spendable.

Went to Kroger today to turn in some coins and before I dumped, the reject slot had a dime and one cent and there was a few pennies on the floor and below. No silver so I added it to my dump and got up to $20 for my Amazon code!

At least you were able to cash in the non-numismatic finds.

Back in 2009-2013 I used to go to the same coinstar almost everyday (depending on different circumstances) about 20 minutes away just to check it. I found quite a bit of silver, but mostly clad. Our pantry and refrigerator were always full because of how often I wanted to go (this was when I was 10-13, now I'm almost 17)...haha

Basically, I've started doing that everyday this summer so far. Whatever I find, I post here.

So here's another find. (2 coinstars are about 8 minutes away from me so I go out there everyday and check them, and the Goodwill is out there so you never know, I always stop)

PGA golf marker token, says "Charter Member" on it. Found it at the supermarket. Not bad.

Someone made a real mess at the Coinstar machine today. Empty bags left everywhere, coins in the hopper and a LOAD of change in the reject slot got me real excited. Turns out someone must've been in Canada recently, as almost everything in the reject slot was Canadian.

2 Loonies
1 quarter
2 dimes
1 nickel
3 pennies
UK 5 pence

And a few clad US dimes and pennies were left in the hopper.

Dime in the parking lot, silver plated brass piece in the Goodwill parking lot, and a 1991 D dime on top of the counter of the coin star.
