I was behind an old lady and her helper who had 258 dollars in change. OoooooOOoooo. I texted my mom I would be late getting home from the store. Lol. I finally got a phone. But in the reject tray was a 1964 D yucky quarter, wich is my 1st acetone test, and a regular clad quarter. I am so happy.

1941 dime that looked brownish/blackish. But hey, it was free. And it is silver!

Silverstackerkid, I thought I was the only person in the world without as phone. Now I probably am. But hopefully that'll change next year if I have my own car.

Today was a really funny coin star experience. I went to coinstar and there was a brother and his sister using the coin star.. They were probably about my age. The brother asked the sister if she took all the coins out of the reject. At that pint I thought, dang nabbit! Turns out she didn't 1945 D Nickel!

I grabbed some change out of the reject slot today, including a quarter and a few dimes. One of the dimes had some dark toning on it, and I thought, "Man, is this another one of those worn out clad dimes?"

Nope.

1954 silver dime.

Found this today along with 14 cents. Is it some sort of commemorative? Haven't looked it up yet. Lol

Mister Kairu, those are the special 2010 Vancouver Olympic quarters our neighbors to the North made. If memory serves, they were minted for circulation, but people like me bought them BU for collector purposes. They are neat.
