On Sunday 1-17-16 I found these all in the reject tray of a local CoinStar. Best coin IMO is a BU 2009 Canadian Vancouver 2010 25 Cent Commemorative coin, in top right corner. So, $1.39 spendable US (7 zincoln, 2 copper), 2 Canada 25 Cent coins, a button and a washer. No silver, but always happy to find anything.

I've never been to a coinstar where anyone has left their rejects....

Perhaps I should stalk all of the local ones!

LincolnCentMeHere, Allfome, & jbuck:

Sorry for your results so far. I checked at two different locations today and came up empty too, but not a 'bummer' to me. You'll find them sometime!

When I used to work my business had a Coinstar that I checked several times a day, and more often than not came up empty, but every so often I got lucky. I also had a long metal ruler that I used to slide under the machine to find coins dropped under them.

Found 4 pennies in the reject tray at Walmart tonight. All pre-82 but nothing special.

I saw a lot of coins in the reject tray, and got real excited. Turns out everything was just a bunch of pennies. They weren't even that old and none were messed up, so someone probably threw all of their pennies in there since they didn't want them.
