Coinstar Finds! (Including Bank Counters And Other Machines)

I also have to wonder, where, when and how it was stored to get such an even toning prior to seeing the little circulation it has seen.

First find of the year Safeway coinstar 1964 D Roosevelt

Technically not a find, but here it goes:

I saw a woman and her daughter cashing in a bunch of change for a gift card, and since I had money, I explained that I collected coins and offered to trade a dollar for the rejects. They simply gave them to me for free since maybe they didn't need them, but anyway, this is what was there:

70 cents ordinary change
Namco arcade token
a few foreign coins, but no silver among them

I know this isn't the right thread for this but I just got this in change from my local Tractor Supply. I asked her if she had any more in her tray but that was it.

For the third time in a month, I found something worth posting a picture of!





The reject tray had all of those coins in it, so I immediately grabbed them and started looking through them. As you can see, it's mostly damaged pennies (including a "2 cent piece" which is just 2 zincolns stuck together) and whatnot, but the real treasure is in the corner. I found a few Euro cents from countries I don't have yet, a 1961 penny that's been filed down to the size of a dime, (which is a keeper to me since some con artist probably did that DECADES ago to put pennies in between dimes in a roll) and a 1964 dime!
