Found three Lincoln pennies and a 1 cent coin from the Bahamas in a reject tray...

1997 Trinidad & Tobago 5 cents at the CU.

I see I haven't posted to this thread since May 30. Usually I need to find silver to post, but this time I have found 133 wheat cents today I feel justified making a post.

Last week, in change, I also received a 2003S cent and a 1964P dime. I'm not even sure what store since I was shopping for Christmas in a number of places.

In the intervening months I also have found $0.77 in common change and this stuff:





I found the PGA ball marker during the weekend of the PGA tournament this year.

The wheats I found today look like the "junk" wheats from someone's collection.

The 1919 was badly pitted and the 1934D was very well worn. None of the 36's or 55's was a double die.

But still . . .

I found a 1970D nickel yesterday and today I found a soda can "lever" or whatever you call them since they are no longer pull tabs like in the 1970's.

Well, time to put the pictures where my mouth is. I check CoinStars regularly and have regular luck with silver, but this is by far my best find and on 1/1/16, no less. Hope it's a good sign for the year. It was all by itself in the beloved reject tray.





Got any grade guesses?

Looks like AU-50 details. Many 1916 coins were saved shortly after entering circulation, and to see a 100-year old coin is always a good sign, let alone in nicer condition! Too bad the storage darkly toned the luster.
