Very nice coin. What is the object you photograph the coin on top of? I like the photo effect.

It's a film container cap I use to raise the coin a bit.

i probably shouldn't say this out loud, but I knew gallienus had his "zoo" coins, I thought there was going to be an insect ANT on the reverse......

NO...these are "Antoniniani"...lol.

beautiful coin...even without an ant on the reverse!

There seems to be a lot of nicely silvered 'Gallienii' around, with little wear.

It seems that huge numbers were struck, but inflation and debasement of the coinage were already being strongly felt at the time.
