In 1628, Prince Archbishop Paris Lodron opened the new Salzburg cathedral, construction of which had been ongoing since 1611. A Half-Thaler coin was issued to commemorate this dedication, and an example of that issue has become the second Half Thaler in my collection.

At least, it has if it's genuine, and that's where you guys come in. Comments? The photos do not capture the luster remaining in the fields, and the color is nicer in differing light than seen here, but otherwise these aren't a bad representation.

Awsome coin I wish I could tell you. Looks real enough all thow the rim seems to be calling attention to itself . Not sure what it is even for a screw press coin It doesn't well I dont know. See if swamperbob can tell you . He can look at a coin quickly and see something
