Nobody ? The inscription in the center seems to me religious ...could "IC" stand for Jesus Christ? in greek or byzantine language? and the other character could be "XC" ?Combining the two will result"IC XC" meaning Jesus Christ the Conqueror.the cross is the patee cross or byzantine patee or crusader's cross? So it is a medieval religious pendant, dating from XV-XIV ?
any ideea about this will be aprecieted!!

The arms appear to depict a rose bush. I know that I have seen these arms before but in which of my books, I am at a loss.

The Greek letters in the center of the cross do represent the words Jesus Christ, the curved lines over the two sets of letters indicate that the words are abbreviated. The Greek letters on the arms of the cross come from Exodus 3:13 in which Moses requests to know God's name and he replies "I am that I am" represented by the Greek letters omega (top), omicron (left) and nu (right). In iconography these three letters are depicted on the halo of Christ.

The medal itself appears to be made of debased silver.
