I recently purchased some bills I think I will want to have graded. So I have been looking into collector's membership so I can directly submit my bills. So I am looking for any information in the why you would go with PCGS over PMG or vise-versa. Thanks.

PCGS usually brings higher prices if you are going to sell, if you are going to keep them it's your choice. I have a few bills from both with no particular interest in selling.

Both require membership fees unless you submit through an authorized dealer.

I had no other choice then use PMG for my Currency Certifation, both error notes, as one error was from The Bank of England, and at the time PCGS mentioned that they only certify North American Currency, where PMG said thay holder all World Currency...
I also think that Currency is a whole lot easier to grade then Coins, and even CGA graded notes are on par with both PMG and PCGS, and CGA is quite a bit cheaper...
I only used PMG for extreemly rare currency as, like coins, many prefer the top 2 grading companies when purchasing, and are in fact buying the holder first and currency inside the holder second...

I submit primarily to PCGS but the waits are outrageous. The last submission in now at 3 months and still not done! They need to hire more staff to keep up with the demand.

I actually prefer CGA, which was the first currency grading company. There are no membership fees and I have always received my items back within a reasonable time. I have not submitted anything to them for a few years, but the ones that I did submit came back with the grades I expected. They do not sell currency and I have no reason to suspect that they give preferential treatment to larger dealers. In short, this would be my recommendation.

Here is the link to their site.

CGA also sells submission packages on ebay.
