It has to be be any one of Augustus RIC 154-161, but I can't seem to settle on just one particular. Any help will be appreciated. Report this Post to the Staff

Augustus & Agrippa Bronze Dupondius 24mm (12.57 grams) of Nemasus, Gaul Struck 20-10 B.C. Reference: RIC 155; Cohen 7, RPC 523 IMP DIVI F, back-to-back heads of Agrippa, wearing rostral crown, & Augustus, bare. COL NEM, crocodile chained to palm, wreath with long ties trailing above. *********** oh wait, I don't think that is it exactly...sorry. cool coin anyway...dig that crocodile reverse. echizento Moderator United States 23731 Posts	Posted 09/13/2012 10:41 pm The ones that I'e seen with the rossette crown have a ribbon hanging down the back of Agrippa's neck, I don't see that here. If Ric 161 doesn't have the crown that would be it. All the others I've seen have the crown. I know that it doesn't help much, but it's the best I can do with my limited resource. There is just not enough remaining for me to be certain. I don't have the coin in hand yet, so possibly when it arrives I may be able to tell more. This where a USB microscope might come in handy.
