OK, I'm having some difficulty with this one I just purchased. It has to be be any one of Augustus RIC 154-161, but I can't seem to settle on just one particular. Any help will be appreciated.

Augustus and Agrippa are bare headed RIC 154 shows Agrippa with rosette crown. I haven't found an example with both bare headed though.

Reference: RIC 155; Cohen 7, RPC 523
IMP DIVI F, back-to-back heads of Agrippa, wearing rostral crown, & Augustus, bare.
COL NEM, crocodile chained to palm, wreath with long ties trailing above.

***********

I believe I see the remnants of a crown of some sort on the left bust (Agrippa). But even so, with or without, which RIC number would this be attributed to?

The ones that I'e seen with the rossette crown have a ribbon hanging down the back of Agrippa's neck, I don't see that here. If Ric 161 doesn't have the crown that would be it. All the others I've seen have the crown. I know that it doesn't help much, but it's the best I can do with my limited resource.

No, RIC 161 has Agrippa wearing combined rostral crown and laurel wreath and Augustus is laureate. There is just not enough remaining for me to be certain. I don't have the coin in hand yet, so possibly when it arrives I may be able to tell more. This where a USB microscope might come in handy. Hmmmm
