This place is selling this RCM labelled box for $5 + $15 shipping to Canada because it's in the USA. Too expensive for just the box!

Anybody have one of these boxes they happen to have but don't need. If not, where can I look? I've looked high and low on the internet, can't find except for this place.

Which kind are you looking for? I have a couple of specimen cases. One from 1991 and another from 1992. I am not looking at selling them but would be happy to give one to you for free if you wanted to pick it up. I'm in Mississauga.
I might be mistaken, but I believe that you need 50 posts before you can contact me or vice versa.

I have one from last xmas 50cent, I used it to display my 1/2oz dragon but apparently it's too loose, but for 1oz silver it won't fit at all.

If you need the box relly badly, you could buy another coin w/box and keep the box, sell the coin. Usually the coin goes for nearly as much by itslef as it would with the coin.

I have 2 such boxes (from the Lismer coin). If you're in Toronto, save on shipping :)

Or stop by your local coin shop. They're probably not worth enough to list for sale but most shops will have some kicking around.

The dealer I go to has at least a dozen or more empty cases that housed proof sets, available for $5 or less each.

If I want to house screw encapsulated coins in such a case, I gut the case and make a new plush lined insert for it, with holes suitably sized for the new screw capsules.
I make the insert from 4mm thick aluminium plate, to which the plush lining is attached. Perspex (lucite) or other hard plastic, of apropriate thickness would be suitably OK to use as well.

Here is the official 2000 one. Lots of places have non official one that function in the same way, such as Collectors Supply House.
