Another beautiful XF coin. Dude, the three you have posted are great coins. You are making me jealous!

I *hate* 1827. Surprisingly enough, I'm going to tentatively disagree with you on this one; the T-I relationship is (I think) wrong for O-142, and that's where I start with attributing Busties. But there's so many 1827's, I have to be careful. I may change my mind, and I may not be back in this thread until tomorrow.
VF-25 offhand, but an odd combination of wear and the lack thereof. Gotta think about this one.

Sorry, but this coin is not an O-142. It is an O-104 with a rarity rating of 1 (common). The markers are:
Obverse 2: Mouth is slightly open. Star 13 is very close to the curl (less than 1/4mm). Light die lines from milling opposite and below the end of the bust are visible on most specimens.
Reverse D: The I is a shade right of being centered under the T. 50 C. is positioned high with the 5 higher than the 0 and tipped more to the left. There is a center dot between crossbars 4 and 5 with several crossbars extending past the border on the left. There is a vertical die defect from the upper side of the lower left leaf toward the main branch above. There are also die defect lines from the top of the right (viewer's) claw to the feathers.
While I could not see the various die defect lines or the center dot because the images are not sharp enough, I could see some evidence that the lines were there. You will obviously be better able to determine if these are there with the coin in-hand.
I believe this coin to be in VF30 condition, based upon the clasp detail. While I cannot see the amount of detail in the claws and wing that I would like to see for this grade, I believe that is just due to the images.

Don't you hate that? I probably graded and tried to attribute this last night, never noticing it was an 1829. Don't feel bad.

Thanks, Also can you give me grade and price on this one, and is it the O-142?

1827's are the worst. Had I started with them, I don't believe I'd ever have grown to enjoy attributing Busties. However, since I'm waiting on laundry (anything more boring exist?), I'll have a go at it. I don't think the obverse star positions match 142, though.

As I stated in my earlier post (and the pics were of the 1827 at the time) this is an O-104 R1. Please read the previous post.

XF-45 light dip, with some luster, that puts it out of VF and it has a full clasp
