I was wondering how everyone would like if every Sunday I would post a matrix of ten silver and ten gold bullion coin prices from the top ten suppliers chosen by the members.
For the moderators and administration....would doing this be within policy as to not offend our advertisers?
If I get the thumbs up for doing this both from our members and administrators...I will post three polls....one for silver, one for gold, and one for suppliers. The top pics from each will go in my weekly pricing matrix. I will publish it on sundays.
So what does everyone think?

I would definitely take a look and would thoroughly appreciate your efforts.
I think you're going in this direction, but just to mention, maintaining the same suppliers and products over time would provide great trend information. I don't know if you need to go beyond 6-8 suppliers as that would reduce the workload and allow for the occasional wild card special sale supplier/product if warranted. Since shipping is such a significant factor for small purchases, maybe a note on each supplier's policy and cost would help too.
You may find the biggest challenge to be where you draw the line on what to provide, but again, it would be interesting and useful for me. After a couple months, I'm guessing some firm conclusions could be drawn and you could decide if and how you'd like to continue. Thanks!

Yes...I am a stickler for ACTUAL cost....so I would maybe do a split. List a one coin and 20 coin average including freight. I am all about finding the real costs...some companies try to hide costs in freight.

That's going to be a job that keeps you busy. Do you plan on the buy price or sell price? Or both?

Just the price you would be buying it FROM the supplier. Seems more people want to know what the suppliers are selling their wares at. Most companies don't have an exhaustive list of what they would buy coin at and I am not going to be calling them every week asking for their offers. I guess I should specify. I am only going to deal with companies who's prices I can find online....not going to be making any phonecalls!

That's a fantastic idea and I agree with other members that there are some challenges you will face.... over all, you are doing a great service to the community and I think it would attract more advertiser to our site.
