I've got a number of charms, far eastern and Chinese, i'd like to get some further info on. Anything anyone can tell me about them would be very welcome. They have come mainly from two collections, some are ex E.T Newell / H.D Gibbs collection from the early 20th century (I've a ticket dated 1916). Unfortuately the charms do not have detailed information with them, unlike the cash coins I bought from the same collection which have some excellent information tickets with them. Here's some of the charms:
1. 47mm, openwork bronze. Snakes?
2. 40mm. Perhaps Indonesian?
3. 59mm. Openwork copper alloy, dragon and phoenix?
4. 40mm. 8 Trigrams.
5. pierced, 55mm
6. Another openwork piece similar to the first piece. 49mm
7. 40mm
8. 44mm
There's more to come! see my other posts. Any info or comments much appreciated. Thanks!
