I bought a whole box of nickels today and when going threw them I found this in one of the rolls. Does anyone know what this is or where it comes from? I haven't ever seen anything like it before and I cant figure out anything about it. Hope someone can help.

it's a thai 1 baht coin, y183 I believe. They have their own calendar system which the coin is dated in, and you might be able to find something about it online.

With all the outsourcing going, it may be our new monitary system being made in some other country just like everything else.

Thailand, 1 baht, year 2544 Buddhist Era, or 2001 AD. In that grade, it's probably not worth much more than face value (1 baht = US3˘).
