I have this quarter coin and would be grateful for some advice.
From my research I believe it is between Edward I 1272 and Henry VIII 1551. But that is all I know.
I just wonder if it is possible to tell a more precise date from a coin like this.
Many thanks.

Certainly pre-14th century, I'm afraid I can't identify precisely.

I think I need to get this post to a more relevant section to get the coin identified.
I have tried "Send a note to staff" to move it, but nothing comes up.
Would anyone have any suggestions how to move the post please.

I sent a note for you. When I come home I'll look in my books and see what I can figure from the snippets of the legends.

Thanks jbuck. Any idea why I couldn't move it myself.
And thanks svslav. And look forward to hearing from you.
