Now The Mints Using Rare To Sell Coins

noahs-numismatics Pillar of the Community Canada 3167 Posts	Posted 09/20/2012 7:38 pm They think that they can claim it is rare because you won't usually find them in circulation (weren't issued for that) and they only made a limited quantity. I think it was around 10,000 rolls or 250,000 coins (not including the sets). Report this Post to the Staff

Wedding, Baby, Christmas, etc.. now don't include the 50 cent piece. 250,000 50 cent coins plus uncirculated set 50 cent coins is a far cry from rare. More than some previous years anyways. Surprised they didn't state including the rare last year penny...... ;) Report this Post to the Staff
