Constantius II? That would be my best guess. As to value, $4, maybe $5 at the most. But it has plenty of historical value IMO.

... it looks as though this coin may have been minted late Friday afternoon, when Brutus and Caelius were getting near the end of their shift? ... perhaps it was late in the season and they were in a hurry to go catch the last half of the Lions versus Gladiator competition!!?

Yep, a Constantius II AE4, "VOT XX MVLT XXX" type. The "sandy" patina looks real, and the coin may be from an eastern mint, such as Antioch.
