MS64 for me too, but it is not the sharpest of strikes.

It is graded MS64 and I got it for $54. Not too bad right?

I put it at a solid, middle of the road 64 myself. What do you guys think?

I think you got a good deal, and I looooove Peace dollars. I recently became a big fan.

Thanks. I'm the same I don't know why but all of a sudden I'm all over them. I was going to focus on Walking Liberty half dollars but I find myself gravitating towards these Peace dollars instead.

Still working on circulated albums of Kennedys, Lincolns, and Jeffersons from change and CRH too. Peace dollars are my only slabbed coins I'm looking for right now. But of course I'm learning to grade them myself to find those good deals.

Yeah I always liked morgans but I think I am over them now. I recently started loving Peace dollars. Walking liberty's are beautiful, but I love the size and weight of the Peace dollars. There is nothing to hate about them. I also like how the details are also softer and not as sharp as Morgan dollars :)

nice deal. I think it is a solid MS64. That hit on the cheek is the only thing that really keeps it from going higher.

I agree I like the size and weight to the Peace dollars over the Walking Liberty half dollars. I suppose I could always go for the ASE but the age and history to the Peace dollar is more fun to me.

Crazy .. seems that a Peace dollar needs to walk on water to get a 65. I thought this coin was nicer than 64 ...

Well the weak striking of these coins doesn't help. While my coin has really nice eye appeal if you look closer you can see a good number of contact and bag marks. It's really bad under magnification but I think all coins look bad under magnification lol.
