This coin was on ebay as a buy it and I could not beleive that it was selling it for 16 bucks in au if it was the no sf as it was a near leaf. The scan of the reverse was showing the tail of the nine touching the rim. Hope I helped a seller on this forum but I do not think so as the info here is very helpful and they probably would not make that mistake. Did I do wrong by not using the buy it?

so we understand, you alerted the seller to the variety instead of buying it at a steal?

i'd say good things are coming your way that will greatly outweigh what you could have profited from his/her mistake.

Now I am not sure if I fed her the correct information! Here is a scan of the reverse so maybe the experts can weigh in on this one. oh well I was only trying to help her.

Not the greatest scans, but appears to be NSF far.You did no harm by alerting the seller,at first glance it looks like it may be a near.Maybe you've prompted the seller to take an interest in varieties, but at the very least you've shown her that there are collectors out there who don't always place their own interests first.
