Trying to determine if I should keep this one or not....I'm thinking the obverse has been cleaned....has some cool die cracks though. I haven't looked at it really close but I believe there is something going on with the date as well. What would you grade this one. Thanks guys

I'm in this one for $67 I guess if I give it enough time the color will turn. at an XF detail grade I'm good with what I paid.

Looking at it again, it may be XF40 D. but yeah, you did fine IMO.

It's not the home run I was wanting.....didn't look cleaned from the sellers pictures....scans are tricky, but I was thinking close to XF....I'll keep it and let it re-tone

Did I hear somewhere that (high powered) Ultraviolet lights can aide in the retoning process (similar to leaving the coin on the window sill)?

Nice Large Cent, I like radial the die cracks!

Hey guys any thoughts on what's going on with the 8 and the second 3...looks like doubling of some sort....first 3 looks like it may have some slight doubling
