After getting the usual sighs and eye rolls from the tellers at TD Bank in Philly Burbs, I got 2 boxes. These were different from the usual Brinks boxes (see photo) and there were no markings on the boxes.

I found two different things I have never found in searching rolls for 35 years. That is I found 3 US dimes (not silver) and my VERY first Indian Head cent!

The Indian 1902 is the second oldest to a very worn 1901 Netherlands cent found circa 1978.

The results were average (14) Canada (3) US dimes and (32) Wheaties oldest dates 1919, 1936.

Well like I said, I have NEVER found an IHC in a roll...here is the 1902 I found.

I know, I never got it with my lack of IHC finds. I checked alot in the late 70's as a kid and rarely over the years, until about three years ago.
But I have pulled approx 5,000 wheaties out of rolls/circulation over the years, but this is my first IHC.
Maybe now that I am not an IHC "virgin" my luck will change?
I have found (6) 1931-S over the years, and many early teens, and 1909's but never IHC.

Great job on the Indian Jay! That is an awesome looking coin!

I've never found an Indian Head before but then again I haven't searched as may coins.

Once again, excellent find!

I would say that is pretty above average for wheats in 2 boxes...usually average about 10-15 per box...except going on a monster box in which I've only had time to go through 10 rolls and have already found 13 wheats including a 1910 ender which was surprising...also 4 in one roll which was very surprising...nice to see there are still lots of wheats out there

When you get 2 penny boxes do you generally just walk in and ask for them? Or do you order them first. Because obviously the bank has them on hand, its just whether or not they are willing to give them to you.

I generally walk in and get 1 box. No problem. This time I got 2 boxes, because my 9 year old niece was over for the weekend and she loves to help search. (I'm trying to get her into collecting, but she loves the search and not the finds!)
The folks at the bank, for the first time, said please call in advance if I want more boxes.
I return the coins to a different branch, same bank, coin counting machine.
