I want to start my next mint mark series, I have just completed the walkers and wish to start a new one. Any suggestions? I was thinking Morgans.. excluding the 1893-s and 1895 proof

when you mention "Mint Mark Series" are you talking an example from each branch mint or the full series including all mint marks? Morgan dollars could be expensive for a full set. That's why I have a Morgan Date Set (at least one from each production date)

Morgans are a cool one. Eisenhower dollars are a good one too if you were looking for a more affordable series Barber halfs are a nice one too

That is a unique set type, one of each coin type from each branch mint There have been some "one hit wonders", like the 1996-W Dime.

Morgans represent 5 different mints over 5 decades. Start with 78 or 79-P. CC from the 80s. S from the 90s. O from the 00s and finish with the 21-D. 5 coins - 5 mints - 5 decades and can be put together fairly reasonably in MS. Just a thought.

Morgans are still gonna be tougher than you might think. Research the San Francisco issues for a real surprise.

I am working on the Barber dimes myself. Minus the 1894S of course. That might be to your taste.
