Yeah, you just remind me.
If anyone got the recent Dino shipment from Mint, please confirm whether if the "JC" initial is on the coin. Thanks

It is not surprising that the price of these coins have been dropping. 25,000 is a lot of coins to go around and people are now getting shipment from the Mint. It is the same demand and supply argument. The greater the supply, the lower the prices will go down.

Woo-hoo, Just receive my 3 Dinos this morning.
Nothing different from the previous one. The only thing is COA# quite high for the new batch of Dinos. I got 2 Dinos 5 months ago with COA# below 500.

LoL... You wish?
Even after a decade from now, you still don't have a chance get it at issue price. See someone here who stocks up 55 dinos.
Right now you still can get them below $100. But after 2-3 yrs, when all the coins in the series comes out, we all will see how high the price of the fisrt dino will be.
The fisrt coin in the bird series is a very good example.
I also regret that I didn't grap 1 glass ladybug When its price at $400-$500. Right now, it is hard to afford one to complete my collection.

For some reason, I think that just the idea that it is the first "glow in the dark" coin will hold its novelty. I think that the price will go no where but up in future years. just my opinion though

I would like to think that the price will rise over time but I definitely collect based on long-term value. As long as the value of the coin keeps up or exceeds inflation averages for the next 20-30 years, then I would be happy.

A dip in price between series is not unusual. Initially it was red hot and now the hype has toned down a lot. Wait until the next one is issued and everyone will start talking about it again. Colonial acres is selling for $84.99 while most other dealers have higher prices.

Elkslayer you may want to sell your dinos in groups of five. Some guy is doing that and getting about $20 more per coin.

^ That seller just got lucky, the days of $100+ dinos are over now that the other 50% of the orders are getting shipped.

The coin may or may not appreciate any further but it will probably not go under $60 which is still a double from the issue price. We just have to wait for the next coin to see the level of demand. I remember when the tulip ladybug coin came out, it was an instant hit and doubled in price and then drifted after 6 months and people lost interest. When the bumblebee was released, you could have purchased the ladybug coin for $250 and now its tripled.
