Buddy Rest in Peace United States 7075 Posts	Posted 09/26/2012 10:39 pm No, copper doesn't shrink. It would get smaller as it got beat up. The rim looks like it has been pushed up onto the coin so that alone would make the coin a bit smaller. I've never seen one like yours. It almost looks like you could peel it and the rim would come off. Report this Post to the Staff
