@ BmOney,

You say, 09/30 : " ....who was selling it ? "

If you search, on ebay, with # 350609846924, you will find the nickname of this canadian seller.

doctorman1941 present, for our information, page 1 of this topic, the photos of reverse and obverse of this coin Far 2, that was offered on ebay by the seller of this coin .

We can see the following note of ebay, in date of 09/27, at the # 350609846924 : " This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available ". The same day, this seller introduce a Near 2, at the # 350611120723 !

Sorry, but in my opinion, this is not what I define like " fair play " !

That ebay item was my mistake for tipping off the seller but I still think it is someone on this site and there is no problem with that as far as I am concerned.I will do like the most buyers on here after I win the auction and post it.

doctorman1941, I am at variance with you : this is the fault of ebay and also of the seller, even if " it is someone on this site ".

I consider this as a brench of ethics !

Your mistake is not more than all others mistakes.

I will use a guess at how many sellers will cancel an auction like that on ebay saying 99%.The coin as you can see has some bad corrosin and a scratch on front as well. It will still have a resale value but not as much as he thinks.

Hello doctorman1941,

You say : " It will still have a resale value but not as much as he thinks. "

Can you inform us of the value " he thinks ", because I see only " Starting bid : $ 0.99 ", with the # of this lot ( 350609846924 ), on ebay ?

Thanks !

These 24 coin were repertoried, in Canada, from four sites, by only 15 collectors
