If anyone is interested in a low 2 than there is one on ebay with 5 days left. The coin has a few marks on it but I do not collect nickels so I am not interested in this one.Item no 350609846924 Good luck if it is the low nine. *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***

I will not mention anymore if I see a deal on ebay because the seller always cancells the auction. He must be reading the threads on this ccf site.

Seller changed their mind and wanted to keep the coin. Nonsense, who was selling it? Congratulations on 100 posts doctorman. Are there 1932 low two's selling? If so how much?

This one was not in very good shape with a scratch on the front and damage on reverse. Here is a scan of the reverse.

The seller cancelled the auction and posted another 1932 coin that was not a low 2.Maybe you are correct but they should know what they are selling and I am not giving any more hints to sellers.

The rarity of this coin is just being brought to light since za75 diclosed it. The following statement is my opinion. The 1932 Far two numerics (found 32 F) lead me to believe that this variety was produced by one die alone as was the 26 far 6. The major differance in my opinion is that the 26 Far was much more noticable and recognized MUCH earlier with out the aid of modern optic/image enlarging equipment. The surviving numbers will be MUCH lower than its 26 counterpart. The acceptance or lack there of by the numismatic community will become apparent very soon with CCCS recognizing the differance. ICCS should follow suit quickly (but you never know) and prices realized at auctions upcoming will decide its fate. I believe it to be a tough coin, but the term "sought after" will soon be known. Realistic forcast IMO 1926 Far 6, 20 to 32 F 1 (20 to 1) at least due to years passing and destruction melting etc. Gonna be a rare one if it catches on. Members like za are breathing new life into numismatics. Well done him! p.s. If my numbers are even close, 500.00 in vg10 is not too far off. And before anyone asks, no, it is not my coin. But trust me when I say I will be watching the auction with interest.

I agree that so much more time passing with nobody saving good quality examples will make good ones hard to find, and/or expensive to obtain. Will ICCS certify one of these?

@ jakedacc,
About value : no idea, because few (only 2) 5 cents Far 2 were sold so far.
About rarity : the TREND with 2650 coins of 5 cents 1932 is :
- 24 coins are Far 2
- 2596 coins are Near 2
24/2620 = 0.91 % for the variety 5 cents 1932 Far 2.
