I had read a review that also mentioned that silver plays a big role. Pretty cool.

It is very good IMO, and rotten tomatoes gave it a 93%..I agree with that.

Couldn't you just add in big big font *SPOILER*!! ?
Movies these days get spoiled weeks before public release anyways. In my view, it only adds to the enticement of wanting to watch it even more. The delivery is more important in movies than the actual story.

Nothing was given away in this thread with respect to the movie...that couldn't be seen in the preview shown on TV or in the movie theatre...
It was made well known in the preview/trailer the time traveler was sent to meet himself in the future....
That doesn't give away what happens in the movie however.

I was watching the trailer with my friend.
When it came up, I was all excited, "HEY HEY! you see that? You see what they use as payment?"
It was followed by a punch in the face for interuppting. Anyways, Everytime the trailer comes on TV, I bring it up to whoevers around!

Finally spotted the silver in the Looper trailer once I knew to look for it. Totally missed it the first half dozen times. Looks like a wild ride of a film.
