Probably the wrong section of the forum, but here goes...

I do not have an established seller's account, and therefore a $500/month selling limit.

Is shipping included in that fee? I have a few $500+ coins I would like to sell, so could I put down $400 for shipping without it being counted to my selling limit? and then be very clear in the description that the shipping is extremely high?

sounds kind of like cheating the system, but is it a way around the limit?

I dont have an established sellers account either but have no selling limit. ebay doesn't look kindly on cheaply sold items that put everything into shipping which is why they now charge sellers fees on shipping as well.

Ive seen sellers with no history selling high priced items (thousands of dollars) as their first sale. I would contact them and ask why you have a limit. It may be something specific to your country or may be that after you make a few sales and establish a history the limit will go away.

Thank you, did they mention if the limit was forever or if it would go away after a few sales? If it goes away Id say to just sell some old stuff around the house to get the limit removed. Id also be curious as to how the limit works. What I mean by that does it just mean you cant list starting prices higher than that or will bidding be stopped when the limit is met. If its just the initial list just list them for 499.99 and let the bidding do the rest.

Otherwise you could also try listing them here when you get enough posts.

Always seems like no one in customer service ever wants to help and they just want to pass it off to the next guy

I just helped my son list his first items and he also has a selling limit. The limit may be based on the number of buyer transactions. I do not know.

I do not believe that shipping is included in that total; but I want to be clear that I would not buy from a seller who was obviously trying to find a loophole in the system. Also, your listings can be reported for excessive shipping charges. I cannot condone shady practices. Sell honestly and the limit will be lifted.

maybe a 1901 half MS62+
and maaaybe (most certainly not) my 1909-O quarter VF35...

maybe the easiest thing to do is to get 100 more posts and sell them on CCF
