Saved this lady from the melter. Let me know how she grades please! Not sure why the first two pics came out so grainy when I sized them.

Nice save! I would guess XF-45, even with the detailed pics I am having a difficult read on the luster. There seems to be some luster remnants in the protected areas, but not enough for me to say AU.

Thank you. I'm trying to save what I can when the budget allows. I know I wasn't able to get the best photos for a grade. It's the best I could do up to this point in my learning the new camera and the USB microscope. The luster is a little better than pictured, but not by much. Probably not enough to grade higher like you said. The black "dots" are bringing me down though. Really wish those weren't present.

Might grade AU but I am having trouble making out how much luster is remaining.

When I first saw that first picture I thought to myself "that must be the flannel variety right there" but from the other pictures I do not see these squares all over the Obverse like it looks in the picture. I am horrible at grading Peace dollars and always try to avoid doing so unless I can see the luster clearly in the pictures of the whole Obverse and Reverse and I can't in this one so I will leave the grading on this one to the others
