I have not, until now, responded to a "dirt digger."
One very sweet haul!!
Out of curiosity, is it true that the best time to comb a beach is after a storm?
Is it true that the storm stirs up stuff just off shore and deposits it on the beach?
If so, let me know, or if not, set me straight.

as a teen I lived on a beach and worked on fishing boats, after every king tide or storm, several of us would go walking the beach, our best find was 4 large glass floats, we also found a canoe and a bottle with a note in it that we had sent out months before, so I would say yep after storms or king tides its worth hunting the beaches, even in a king low tide as more beach would be exposed to hunt.
